A global law firm seeks a dynamic, successful Facilities Manager for their large, distinguished DC office. Salary in the $90Ks! Great benefits! Elite location!
Responsibilities:
· Prepare the department budget
· Review and approve expenditures within the parameters of the approved budget
· Hire, supervise and evaluate department personnel
· Manage outsourced service providers and the various office vendors
· Oversee office renovation projects
· Manage cost recovery reporting
· Act as designated office contact for the building management company and oversee sublease and subtenants relations.
· Administer the safety and security program for the office and be in charge of oversight for both café and fitness center operations
Qualifications:
· Seven to 10 years of progressive Facilities Management experience as an employee of a law firm. Must have 8 years experience in a law firm as a Facilities Manager. Previous Facilities Management with strong supervisory experience for large multi-floor law firm required; project management experience required.
· Good tenure desired.
· Experience managing a building with over 150 attorneys a must. Prior experience with vendors and subtenants is preferable.
· Bachelor's degree preferred.
· Experience with CAD drawing application preferred but not necessary.
· Experience with space management/build outs required.
· Strong proficiency with Excel is a must.
